Six farmers organization staged a protest in Bratislava Monday, saying that the government had done nothing substantial to address their demands in over a month.
Agriculture Minister Richard Takáč said the protests were politically exploited. The presence of some opposition politicians at Monday's protest, in front of the ministry building, is proof of this, he said. He added that of the eight demands, most are being worked on, and there are also points that the department has already resolved.
