The main opposition party filed a motion with the Prosecutor General’s Office to investigate a recent change in the statutes of the Intelligence Services (SIS) by the government. This change allowed the cabinet to appoint a deputy director with all the powers of the director.
Progressive Slovakia says this is a matter for a criminal investigation because the classification and text of the statute’s supplement run contrary to the law.
