Finance Minister Peter Kažimír guarantees a substantial change to the auditing of usage of Eurofunds. He does not consider the current control sufficient and effective in terms of capacities.
The Parliament on Wednesday approved the government draft law on contributions provided from the European structural and investment funds. The draft defines the position and powers of individual organs in the process of using EU funds, elementary principles of management and control and procedural stipulations on decision-making when it comes to applications. It also adjusts conflicts of interest in the provision of financial support from Eurofunds.
