Deputy Economy Minister Kamil Šaško attended a meeting with colleagues in Brussels, focused on energy. "For us, the absolutely key topic is how we will react together in a situation where the gas transportation contract between Ukraine and Russia would be terminated," he said. The agreement runs until the end of 2024.
Šaško said Slovakia needed to find more diverse sources of supply, and encourage Slovaks to reduce demand. He said that anticipating winter, reservoirs are already filled to approximately 70 percent.(TASR)
