A former director of the Slovak Intelligence Service, head of counterintelligence, has been found guilty of bribery and sentenced to five years in prison. A lawyer was sentenced to 30 months in the same case.
Both were charged with extortion, money laundering and bribery but the Specialized Criminal court concluded that only bribery was proven. The prosecutor will appeal. (TASR, Dennik N)
