The Slovak-Ukrainian border will be patrolled by two drones, Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok said on Wednesday. The border is 98 kilometres long, two thirds of which difficult mountainous terrain.
The Minister also handed over five new vehicles to the local border and foreign police department.
The minister also announced that the Vysne Nemecke border crossing will be widened from two lanes each way, to five. The work should begin in autumn. (TASR)
