Hungary has been sending humanitarian aid to Ukraine, with Budapest training Ukrainian doctors and helping refugees, said Prime Minister Viktor Orban. He agreed that the Russian attack on Ukraine constitutes a flagrant violation of international law, and that Ukraine must be helped. "There's a strange aspect to this from Hungary's point of view, seeing as Hungary doesn't wish to share a border with Russia. We have bad memories of the times when we did,“ stated Orban.
