The European Commission (EC) must urgently solve the problems of the European agricultural sector, said Agriculture Minister Richard Takač after a meeting in Brussels. "The European Commission is open to opening legislation on the common agricultural policy, because when it was formed, there was no war in Ukraine, no COVID-19, high energy prices, and the common market was not threatened from the point of view of the competitiveness of farmers," he said.
