On Wednesday, the Council for Budget Responsibility, an independent watchdog, said that the current budget exceeds the spending limits. The Ministry of Finance responded by saying it is preparing law changes.
Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenický said that under the new rules, the budget would meet European limits.
