A new program for the long-term unemployed will start in April. About 15,000 people will be offered paid jobs.
"These people will perform minor services for cities and municipalities, self-governing regions and organizations. We don't want long-term unemployed people to just sit at home and do nothing‚“ said Labour Minister Erik Tomas.
