The police have charged 22-year-old woman in connection with an incident at Comenius University´s Pharmaceutical Faculty in Bratislava that occured on the 13th of February. She is facing a charge for the crime of spreading a false alarm. The police stated that she is currently being prosecuted at large and if found guilty, she could be sentenced to one to five years in prison.
The woman is a student who should have had the last possible attempt to pass the exam on that day in order to stay a student of the university. The faculty staff and a police officer on duty were told that there was an imminent risk to the life and health of the people at the faculty at that time. The information was allegedly provided to the woman who reported it by an unknown man who has been expelled from the faculty. The police then ordered the evacuation of the faculty's premises. After that, the police managed to collect enough evidence to enable them to press the charge.
