Police: Man steals nine bottles of wine worth €14,000

The police have pressed charges against a man who stole wine worth more than €14,000 from a shop in the Bratislava borough of Devin, TASR learnt on Tuesday.

According to the police, the man stole nine bottles of wine of different brands between January 29 and February 5, with the most expensive stolen bottle costing €5,300.

After charging the defendant, the police found out that he was previously conditionally sentenced by Nitra District Court for another crime. (TASR)
