Purchasing power of Slovak families has risen substantially in the past two years. Much attention was drawn to the rising cost of living, but salaries, pensions and social benefits have also grown. As a result, purchasing power of the average family has risen 10 per cent, said the Budgetary Responsibility Council. (TASR)
