Sportsman of the Year 2023 is a woman: Danka Bartekova, who won both the European and World championships in skeet shooting. The previous four years, the title was won by downhill skier Petra Vlhova.
The prize for the best sports team of the year went to the national football team, which fought itself into the finals of the European Championship, to be held in Germany this summer.
