The amendment to the Criminal Code could be approved by Parliament on Wednesday or Thursday, said Prime Minister Robert Fico. He hopes it happens because there is a lot of other urgent work to be done, he said.
Four opposition parties filed a complaint with the Constitutional Court today, Monday, about the way the changes to the Criminal Code were handled in Parliament. Zuzana Števulová of the Progressive Slovakia party emphasized this was specifically about the short time allotted to the debate. She said another complaint, on the content of the bill, could be filed after the bill is passed.
