We must stop radicals of the group now known as Islamic State (IS) otherwise, before we know it, they’ll be knocking at our door, stated Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák.
Reacting to the speech of the US President Barack Obama, Lajčák said that IS fighters who have occupied territories in Iraq and Syria are a threat to our civilization as well. Slovakia will therefore join the coalition of states which will in some way help defeat these radicals. Our participation might be via some kind of training the Minister stated, although it has not been discussed at Governmental level just yet.
