The Defence Ministry approved 41 military exercises in Slovakia in the first half of 2024. Slovak soldiers should be sent to another 72 exercises abroad. The joint exercises will be in Norway, the Czech Republic, the USA, Hungary, Poland and Romania, among other countries.
The documents also propose approving the deployment of Slovak soldiers outside Slovak territory and the presence of foreign armed forces in Slovakia based on international treaties in the field of arms control.
