Former PM Dzurinda joins security working group

Mikulas Dzurinda, prime minister from 1998 to 2006, has joined the International Working Group for New Security Architecture of Europe. This is a group of former politicians gathered by the deputy of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Danish former secretary general of NATO. Among the other members are Boris Johnson, the former prime minister of the UK; former Polish president Alexander Kwasniewski; former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton, and former Canadian minister of foreign affairs and defence Peter MacKay.

The group has tasked itself with proposing measures to deter Russia from any other aggression, and contribute towards ending the war under conditions acceptable to Ukraine. (TASR)
