Fico also used the meeting with the German chancellor to mention Jozef Hambalek, the head of the motor gang ‘Night Wolves’ which has close ties with Russia. He is subject to EU sanctions for supporting the Russian invasion. Fico pleaded for his removal from the sanctions list. Scholz declined to comment on this. (TASR)
