President Andrej Kiska appoints new ambassadors

Slovak President Andrej Kiska on Tuesday appointed several new ambassadors, the president's official website reported on the same day. Ľubomír Macko was appointed as ambassador to Iraq, replacing Miloslav Macko.

Dušan Horniak will be sent to head the recently established embassy in the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi. A change is also set to take place at the embassy for Belgium and Luxembourg based in Brussels, with outgoing ambassador Jan Kuderjavý being replaced by Stanislav Vallo. Meanwhile, Andrej Droba is leaving the post of Foreign and European Affairs Minister's Office director for the embassy in Canada, replacing Milan Kollár.
