Petra Vlhova, who crashed during the giant slalom of the World Cup races in Jasna this weekend, will have to undergo surgery. Her coach Mauro Pini said on Monday that Vlhova had her knee examined in Ruzomberok, and was flown on Sunday to Switzerland, where she will undergo surgery. She tore the anterior cruciate ligament, ACL, and also damaged her meniscus and another ligament in her knee. He expects Vlhova to return to the slopes in September.
