The Presidential Elections is expected to cost more than 18 million euros. The amount also includes the expenses for the second round of the elections. This was approved by the government on Thursday, the eighteenth of January. The money will be used for the salaries of election commissions´ members, for printing ballot papers, for the protection of public order on election day and for expenses for processing the election results. The first round of presidential elections is scheduled for the twenty-third of March.
