Andrej Danko had a breathalyser test only after 15 hours after the accident

Parliamentary Vice-chair and Slovak National Party leader Andrej Danko took a breathalyser test only after 15 hours from the car accident he caused on Thursday evening. According to the police, it was negative. The police spokesperson noted that neither the driver nor the car were present at the scene when the police arrived. The Opposition considers this step as a failure of the police, suggesting it should have done a blood test instead and wants Danko to face a no-confidence motion. Danko himself has confirmed that he crashed into a post during the road accident. He apologised for it and said that he'll pay for the damage caused if necessary. His party backed him.

The Police Corps President Lubomir Solak has ordered a review of the action of the police in connecting with the case.
