Prime Minister Robert Fico and Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar both responded yesterday to criticism that Slovakia had not signed an international declaration, condemning Russia for buying missiles from North Korea.
Blanar said: "We are consistently on the side of observing international law and the sanctions of the UN Security Council, but we will not do it just because someone tells us that they think so, without giving the evidence.“
The Prime Minister said: “The era of cheap concessions for everything is over, and Slovakia will behave like a sovereign country.”
