Parliament is continuing debate on the closure of the Special Prosecutor’s Office. This in itself is enough proof that a so-called “fast track” procedure gives plenty of opportunity for debate, said Prime Minister Robert Fico.
We will point this out to the European Commission, he said. He added that there will be hundreds of speeches and thousands of factual comments in the parliament. And the Act on the cancellation of the Office is widely discussed in the media, both professionally and by laymen.
