Danka Barteková was named the second-best female shooter of the world, in a poll by the International Shooting Federation, ISSF. 2023 was her best year yet: she became European and world champion in skeet, a form of clay pigeon shooting. Number one in the ISSF poll was German pistol shooter Doreen Vennekamp.
