Slovaks are more optimistic this year. Around 41 percent said 2024 will be better for them personally and 39 percent expect about the same year as last year.
Only 20 percent of Slovaks expect a worse year. "This is significantly less than a year ago, when 35 percent of the people expected 2023 to be worse," said the authors of the survey.
