The Slovak economy may grow at 2 per cent this year, up from 1.1 per cent last year, says analyst Matej Hornak of the Slovenska sporitelna. He expects that consumer spending will rise because lower inflation means higher real salaries; and he forecasts an increase in business investment. (TASR)
