Audit Office to examine military property donated to Ukraine and Presidential Office

The Supreme Audit Office will examine next year military property donated to Ukraine and the functioning of water companies. It will also check the management of the presidential office or the state-owned health insurance company VSZP. Spokesperson of the office Daniela Bolech Dobáková: "The auditors will continue the audit of the National Highway Authority and check on the spot how the adopted measures in the area of transparent public procurement or in setting new rules for the operation of the toll system work. The auditors will also be looking at other IT projects that have received not only national but also European funding."
 
In regional development, the audit office will focus on the transformation of the Upper Nitra coal region, local action groups and access to drinking water for marginalised Roma communities. It will also examine the processes that were supposed to prepare Slovakia for active use of European financial assistance.
