Skier Petra Vlhová won in Courchevel

Petra Vlhová, the Slovak skier, won Thursday's World Cup slalom race in the French resort of Courchevel. It is the 30th triumph by Vlhová in the prestigious series. Important for the victory of Slovak skier was the first run, which was built by her Swiss coach Mauro Pini. Vlhová defeated the overall leader, American Mikaela Shiffrin, who ended second. Katharina Truppe from Austria was third. On the 28th and 29th of December 2023, the skiers will travel to Lienz, Austria, to attend the giant slalom and slalom races.
