On Wednesday the Government and the representatives of employers and trade unions debated the draft of EU's newest sanctions against Russia, but no clear stance has been adopted.
The Prime Minister’s spokesperson Beatrice Szaboová said that the debate will continue after the European Commission delivers the list of commodities to be affected by the sanctions in the coming days. According to Slovak Economy Minister Pavol Pavlis, the Government must protect the interests of Slovak entrepreneurs and employers in the first place. He added that Slovak companies will have to look for new markets then, for example, in China and Latin America.
