Energy prices for households and selected vulnerable customers will not go up next year, the government said yesterday. The Parliamentary Chair Peter Pellegrini and Economy Minister Denisa Sakova (both Hlas-SD) jointly appeared to announce one and a quarter billion euros had been reserved to compensate end users in case market prices for gas and other fuels go up.
"I want to assure you that compared to last year's prices for electricity, gas and heat, nothing will change. No one will see an increase in prices on invoices," said Economy Minister Saková.
