The national gas utility SPP has been preparing for an end to gas supplies from Russia via Ukraine, general director Miroslav Kulla said.
"Our country must prepare itself for all possible scenarios, as we don't have complete control of the situation. We will be prepared for any eventuality," declared Kulla at the Central European Energy Conference (CEEC) 2023. He said SPP has stored sufficient volumes of gas for the upcoming winter.
