An extraordinary session about Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok will take place Thursday afternoon. Opposition parties have jointly proposed a vote of no confidence in the Minister.
The opposition believes that the minister should be dismissed over purges in the Police Corps, violations of the law and measures taken on the Slovak-Hungarian border, which it called "a spectacle".
Michal Simecka, leader of the largest opposition party, said yesterday: "He circumvented the law with his first steps in office, with courts having to remedy his decisions."
