Interior Minister Sutaj Estok was in Austria to discuss border controls. He said that Slovakia is ready to protect the border and thus contribute towards the scrapping of checks as soon as possible.
His Austrian counterpart said that Austria will carry out checks on its border with Slovakia indefinitely, for as long as necessary.
