On December the 5th, Slovakia will stop exporting oil products to the Czech Republic. Refinery Slovnaft processes mostly Russian oil, which it is not allowed to export to EU countries; but the EU made an exception for Czechia, which is about to expire. This is a setback for Slovnaft, which exports two thirds of its refined products.
In an interview with the HN newspaper, the chief executive of Slovnaft said that one fifth of all diesel and gasoline in Czech Republic is from Slovnaft.
