After Poland and the Czech Republic extended their strict border control on traffic coming in from Slovakia, it was the turn of the Slovak Republic yesterday to announce the extension of random border checks – but on the Hungarian border, on people traveling from Hungary to Slovakia. All countries say the measures are intended to suppress illegal migration.
