The Czech Republic has decided to extend temporary random checks on the border with Slovakia by an additional 20 days, until November 22. This is the second time the so-called temporary restrictions have been renewed. The Minister of the Interior said: “Until truly effective protection of the EU's external border works, we will have to deal with the consequences of illegal migration at the internal borders of the Schengen area."
This morning, Poland announced the same extension.
