The boycott of Russian gas by the EU has halved the amount of gas transported through the pipeline from the Ukrainian border through Slovakia to Austria, in the first seven months of this year. EUstream said that as a result, the company recorded a loss of 12.5 million euro for the year so far, after a profit of 264 million euro last year.
