The opposition party Slovakia (formerly OLANO and friends), headed by former prime minister Igor Matovic, wants parliament to review a decision by the new Interior Minister to suspend six police investigators. MP Rastislav Kratky says the Minister should explain how he can fire the policemen, who enjoy the legal protection of whistleblowers. They received this status from the special prosecutor’s office, a few days after the election.
