The population of Slovakia is aging, and that means many jobs are left unfilled. An economist for Tatra Bank said migrants could help. And if they get jobs, they will also pay taxes, which would help public finances. He pointed out that in the Czech Republic, there were four times as many foreigners employed as in Slovakia.
