Slovakia is building charging points for electric cars at a high rate but still not fast enough, says the Slovak Electromobility Association. The number of points grew by a third this year, but Slovakia still lags behind the European average. The number of chargers per capita is roughly the same as in all other central European countries - but behind France and Germany. More specifically: for every 100,000 inhabitants, Slovakia at the beginning of this year had 49 charging points; France and Germany, twice as much, about 100; the leader, Holland, has 700 charging points per 100,000 inhabitants.
