The boss of the National Highway Company has been fired by the Transport minister. The reason was ‚managerial missteps‘, according to the ministry, which did not elaborate.
These missteps occurred during the tender for the rebuilding of a short regional road, about 12 kilometers long, near Banska Bystrica, in the middle of the country.
The general director of the Highway Company had been in his job just over two years.
