The number of illegal migrants who were detained in Slovakia seems to be declining. The numbers went from 6,000 in July, to 9,000 in August and 13,000 in September; but in the first half of this month the number was just over 4,000.
In several places the government has installed heated tents for temporary shelter, mostly near border crossings.
