The biggest match of the football season, Spartak Trnava against Slovan Bratislava, was disrupted as usual by fireworks, burning flags and lots of obscenities. But the police reported no injuries. On the streets of Trnava, the fans were controlled by police forces; in the stadium, they were able to light smoke bombs and for the first time, actual fireworks, according to one report. In the end, visiting Slovan won 2-1.
