A Slovak director won at the MIRAGE festival in Norway. Viera Čákanyová was named Best Director for her film ‚Notes from Eeremocene.‘ The film, which premiered at the Berlinale, has since been screened or awarded at nearly twenty international film festivals. The film is described as a ‚playfully dystopian science fiction essay,‘ in which digital technologies have conquered the world and humans feel very lonely.
