The new cabinet should not create a new ministry to appease one coalition partner. That is the opinion of Jan Figel, former chairman of the Christian Democrats and former European Commissioner.
Smer, Hlas and SNS want to create a new ministry for tourism and sports, to be headed by a representative of SNS.
But, Figel said: the government is deep in debt and politicians should set an example by cutting costs, not creating new ministries.
