The situation on 35 crossing points on the border with Hungary is calm, the Interior Ministry has reported. As it further informed, the random checks, reintroduced as of Thursday morning, are meant to curb increased irregular migration. The police claimed that no one had been denied entry to the country so far. The measure is set to last until October 14, with the police focusing on suspect vehicles.
