The Finance Ministry has drawn up a draft of a savings package. It consists of almost 100 measures amounting to 7 percent of Slovakia's GDP. These could help in the recovery of public finances. A higher tax on alcohol or sweetened beverages is mentioned, PM Ludovit Odor and Finance Minister Michal Horvath reported on Wednesday. The next government will be able to choose from the measures according to its own priorities.
