Hygienists from Presov, eastern Slovakia, reported more than 130 cases of jaundice and four active outbreaks of the disease in four villages in the Presov district. According to experts, the situation in Presov hospital is worsening. A total of 85 patients have been admitted to the infectious diseases ward, which has a capacity of 90 beds. The commission has therefore taken several measures, including ordering an extraordinary vaccination of children under the age of 15.
